I really thrilled that Cosmograf has been nominated in the 2013 Progressive Music Awards in the ‘Limelight’ category. This is a big deal for me and an honour to be considered in such a fine company of musicians. The award is based on audience votes, and whilst it’s highly unlikely we’d ever be able to sway enough votes to win a popularity contest, it’s really about the opportunity to raise the awareness and profile of Cosmograf. I’d like to thank a few people for helping to get me here. Launching ‘The Man Left In Space’ involved a team of lovely, talented people who just love what they do. Nick D’Virgilio, Dave Meros, Matt Stevens, Greg Spawton, Andy Poole, Simon Rogers, Steve Dunn, Lee Abraham, Luke Machin, Dave Ware, Rob Aubrey, Graeme ‘Twig’ Bell, Amy Armstrong, Dan Armstrong, Alison Henderson, Robert Ramsay, Brad Birzer, Katharine Thompson, Thomas Konsler, Steve Mayne, Nellie Pits… Apologies if there is anyone I’ve forgot!
You’ll also be glad to know I’m not resting on my prospective laurels, I’m busy with a new album to be released next year. More detail on that coming soon…
